Christmas weekend was fun but a bit of a wash-out. Mommy, Daddy and Ellabee all had a stomach virus and spent the weekend sick. Santa came anyway ... he wasn't afraid of catching it! He brought Ellabee a car, Noah's Ark and a shopping cart. She also was given a kitchen set and a tea set! All are a big hit!
It was fun day in Fairhope. We didn't even get in the car to go anywhere!
The Saturday night before Christmas... unless it's Christmas Eve because she's then otherwise engaged... Mrs Claus comes to visit little girls named Ellabee. She brings presents and leaves them under the Christmas tree. This year, Mrs Claus brought a teepee, a Ronald McDonald and a baby bed.... we LOVE it!
The halls are decked in Ellabee's home! We are particularly fond of the Christmas tree. Mommy hung the ornaments we can touch at the bottom of the tree and we get to look at the pretty ornaments from the stairs. We have had to not stand on the presents... even though they make great stools. We'll be interested to see which ones are broken on Christmas morning!
We are getting ready for Santa to come visit! We're waiting to go see the big man next weekend when our Mimi and Papa are here! Ellabee has been working on her list and has tried very hard to be a good girl... although we are two, so Santa needs to cut us somewhat of a break!
Ellabee and her Daddy's thing these days is to dance when he gets home from work and after she's had her dinner. Her favorite song is Robert Earl Keen's Gringo Honeymoon and Christmas Song. She loves dancing with Daddy and I think Daddy loves dancing with her!
